Manifesto
LIVING ART.We live in an age of constant visual noise.Screens fill our personal spaces, our homes, our workplaces, and even our public spaces.
Yet the images we're bombarded with are never intended for human wellbeing. Most digital imagery is designed to compete for attention, accelerate consumption, and generate distraction.Living Art proposes another possibility.Instead of capturing attention, digital art can shape the atmosphere of a space.Living Art is not an image that demands to be looked at, instead it’s a visual presence that exists quietly within the environment.A living artwork unfolds slowly through colour, light, and minimal motion. Its changes occur gradually, often at the threshold of perception. At first glance, it may appear still.Over time, the viewer begins to sense subtle transformation: colour shifting, light breathing, form drifting.
These changes do not interrupt daily life, instead they accompany it.Living Art is the exact opposite of the speed and intensity that dominate contemporary media. Instead of screaming for your attention, it explores slowness, subtlety, and presence. The purpose of Living Art is not to forcefully grab your attention but to release it.
When the artwork no longer demands focus, personal awareness can expand. The viewer becomes more conscious of the surrounding space, of their own internal state and of being present in the moment. This way, Living Art transforms screens into peaceful environment enhancers rather than sources of distraction.Living Art is not an object, it’s a vibe that exists continuously, like light brightening up a room.
Through subtle motion and evolving colour, Living Art explores how digital media can influence the emotional architecture of modern spaces. In a world of accelerating information and endless stimulation, I propose a different rhythm.Slow.Calm.Present.
